A paraprofessional provides instructional support or other direct services to students under the supervision and direction of the classroom teacher and/or other licensed professionals.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in a school setting working with students with varying levels of functioning and abilities. Successful candidates must be flexible, able to work and communicate effectively with teachers and teams, and serve as positive role models for students. Must be highly qualified (Associates Degree, 60 credits or passing score on the Parapro Test). Demonstrated ability in English grammar, spelling, writing and math. Basic computer skills. Other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
